Respect - Given And Received
"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived"
The Old Guard. We’re a tad slower and quite a bit older than back in the day. Our hair is not so thick, our eyesight not so sharp, our joints not so good. As much as we hate to admit it, our days of running with the New Guard are in the rear view mirror. But when it comes to rendering respect for our country, it doesn’t matter how much our body screams we can’t, our heart will find a way we can. If you’re willing to listen, this old warrior will silently teach you more about duty and respect in a minute twelve seconds than many learn in a lifetime.
Much respect.
