Tamyra Mensah-Stock
I don’t know this lady. I do not know where she falls on the political spectrum. I do not know if she is rich, poor or in-between. I do not know which religion, if any she adheres to. I do not know if she is a descendent of slaves, or her family recently immigrated to the U.S. I do not know her education level.
I do know she has my respect and admiration. I do know I will look to her in the future for inspiration. I do know I am proud of her. I do know I wish I had more friends like her:

In 50 seconds this lady, who won Olympic Gold, gave us a lesson in the importance of humility, hard work, faith, and pride in the U.S. She has taught more people, more things in less than a minute, than I have in a life time.
