Unraveling "A Riddle, Wrapped In A Mystery, Inside An Enigma"
Their has been a plethora of advice, mandates, and recommendations concerning COVID coming from two presidents, the Speaker of the House, Dr. Fauci, the CDC, an ever changing cast of other governmental officials, and every newspaper, T.V. station, and radio channel, as well as everyone who can spell “expert” - and many who cannot (looking at you Hollywood) - in the U.S. To be fair, this information is always confusing, often contradictory, and rarely understandable. Additionally, much of this information seems to be nothing more than the droppings of a male bovine disguised as intellectual thought filtered threw the lips of sanctimonious morons.1
But not to despair! In times of public uncertainty and governmental panic we can rely on Opus and his friends in Bloom County. In fact, they have already turned their unique talents (real or imaginary) to figuring out how to wear a mask, how many masks must be worn, where they must be worn, how to wear gloves, the best way to social distance, and the state of mind you need in order to survive the pandemic without panic. Let me introduce Bloom County’s Personal Protective Equipment Czar, BILL the CAT:

Bloom Count
y was one of my favorite
comic strips created by Berkeley Breathed that ran throughout the 1980s. Alas, like a good party, it came to an end all to soon. However, it is once again being published on Twitter…which makes it one of the few Twitter accounts that does not believe engaging in personal attacks and name calling is a good way to persuade people to your point of view. But I warn you - if you cannot let your inner child out and step away from reality for a bit, then you should most likely pass on Bloom County.
I would like to take credit for the Title, but it is a quote from remarks by Winston Churchill made on the BBC, October 1, 1939 about Russia. The Churchill Society http://www.churchill-society-london.org.uk/RusnEnig.html
